Buttons and cryptography. The Peg Code game is based on a square of Polybius with a grid of 5 rows and 5 columns. The letters of the alphabet are set grid from left to right and top down. Rows and columns are color-coded with buttons. The knobs form a table, the “coordinates” of the letters, used to encode the message. Recommended age 5 to 10 years.
